You bridge the gap between cutting-edge models and real products. You design and build AI-powered features — agents, RAG systems, evaluation pipelines — and make them reliable, fast, and genuinely useful. You care about what works in production, not just on a benchmark.
Your Stack.
What You'll Do.
Design and build AI-powered features: agents, RAG pipelines, and structured-output systems.
Integrate LLMs into production applications with proper guardrails and observability.
Build evaluation and testing harnesses to keep AI behaviour reliable as it scales.
Work with full-stack engineers to ship AI features inside real products.
Stay close to the frontier — evaluate new models and tools and bring the best into our stack.
Optimise for latency, cost, and quality across the whole inference path.
What We're Looking For.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, with hands-on LLM/AI work.
- Strong in TypeScript and/or Python.
- Practical experience with LLM APIs, prompting, tool-calling, and agent patterns.
- Understanding of embeddings, vector search, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Comfortable reasoning about evaluation, reliability, and cost/quality trade-offs.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
Nice to Have.
- Experience with the Vercel AI SDK or similar agent frameworks.
- Fine-tuning, model hosting, or inference-optimisation experience.
- Open source contributions in the AI/ML space.
- Background in fast-moving startups or research.
